Asnaf Tracks in Teluk Intan District
Teluk Intan, 10 March 2020 - The Council of Islamic Religion and Malay Customs Perak (MAIPk) held a trace program recipient in Teluk Intan involving two Kubong lived in Mukim Labu and Mukim Sungai Durian. This asnaf trail program gives great importance to MAIPk in ensuring that asnaf groups who are eligible to receive zakat are best assisted. MAIPk is able to meet and see more clearly the unfortunate reality of this unlucky life as its location within the village interior.
The asphalt trail program this year included the Chief of the Colonial Downstream of the Silver, YDH Toh Young Rich Man Admiral of the Crown, Dato 'Haji Meor Redwan bin Mahayudin, and MAIPk Member, YBrs. Tuan Haji Mohd Hanid bin Abdullah Sani. Also participating in the program was Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Management) of MAIPk, YBrs. Tuan Haji Mohd Haidi bin Sulaiman, General Manager of Zakat Distribution Division, AF. Ustaz Bakri bin Lee, MAIPk Teluk Intan District Baitulmal Officer, Mr Zul-Azri bin Hosaini and MAIPk officials.
The MAIPk has toured and closed four homes identified as belonging to the group. Programs such as these can help ease the stress of living, as well as look at other requirements that MAIPk deserves. The pilgrimage is also a continuation of the MAIPk Asnaf Concern Squad which is constantly in the process of finding and reaching out to asnaf in helping those who are in desperate need of help to support their lives. Visitors receive donations in the form of cash and food boxes to meet the daily needs of each family. Subsidies will be considered especially in the aspects of Home Assistance.
