CIO roles and responsibilities are as follows:

To ensure that all users understand the provisions under MAIPk ICT Security Policy;
 



To ensure all users comply with the ICT Security Policy MAIPk. Appropriate action should be taken in the event of any breach of security;
 



To ensure that all requirements of the organization (financial resources, staff resources and the protection of safety) is sufficient;
 



Ensure risk assessment and implementation of ICT security program as set out in MAIPk ICT Security Policy; 

and
 

Ensure Plan Compliance Plan that seeks to manage risks arising from non-compliance MAIPk ICT Security Policy.
