MAIPk Asnaf Entrepreneur Graduation Ceremony (Mentor Mentee Participant 2016)

IPOH, Feb. 16, 2016 - The Perak Islamic Religious Council & Malay Customs (MAIPk) held a MAIPk AsnafÂ Entrepreneurs Graduation Ceremony (Mentor Mentee Participant 2016). The graduation ceremony is a recognition to the participants of the 2016 Mentor Mentee Program who successfully completed within 6 months of training and joint monitoring MAIPk and Muslim Youth Cooperative (BIC). They have seen the potential of its business and competitive ability in the market next to brand themself as an MAIPk Asnaf Entrepreneur. The successful participants will also pay zakat when this event takes place and eventually give back to the other asnaf.

Handing Over The Capital Assistance to AsnafÂ Entrepreneurship Participants 2016 (Dewan Al-Ghazali, Kompleks Islam Darul Ridzuan,

Monitoring and training for 6 months ( Jun hingga November 2016)

OBJECTIVES

Provide opportunities and space to empower asnaf who are productive and potential to become an active community of outstanding entrepreneurs and collaboration
Adding the product to the sustainability of asnaf entrepreneurs business in established and managed so they can contribute back to the community through zakat.

FOCUS

The program involves a program under the Economic Empowerment Program for Asnaf involving business projects on a small scale with the help of MAIPk capital or equipment with an estimated value of RM5,000.00 including training and monitoring for 6 months from the MAIPk.

2014	MAIPk has produced 10 entrepreneurs who have products that are distinctive. MAIPk has helped them with marketing techniques and product packaging as well as help them increase revenue from their business.
2015	MAIPk successfully produced 57 successful asnaf out of poverty through business.
2016	MAIPk successfully produced 59 successful asnaf exceed the basic limit of 31 people under the Mentor Mentee program and 28 under the Business Enterprenuer Asnaf MAIPk (BEAM).
