MAIPk Zakat Assessment Workshop

Seri Iskandar 12 to 13 December 2016 - Perak Islamic Religious Council & Malay Customs (MAIPk) held a Zakat Assesstment Workshop held at the D Hotel Seri Iskandar. The workshop was attended by officers of the District treasury and MAIPk staff who are directly involved with zakat work. The assessment aims to provide exposure and knowledge in the assessment of zakat. This is to enable the methods of calculating zakat can be adjusted between Headquarters and MAIPk offices in the area. The workshop was led by General Manager, Marketing Division Mr. Ahmad Nazim bin Hj Md Tajuri. The talk delivered by Ustaz Mohd Latiff bin Talib of Marketing Division, MAIPk. Officials of the Marketing Department, Perak Islamic Religious Council & Malay Customs participated in the workshop as the workshop secretariat.
