Zakat Education Workshop on Cooperation Economic

Taiping - 28 November 2016 (Monday) - Perak Islamic Religious Council & Malay Customs (MAIPk) held the Zakat Education Workshop on Cooperation Economic at Hotel Taiping Perdana. The workshop was attended by cooperatives representatives across the state. It aims to provide an exposure about the importance of zakat to the administrators of the cooperative. At the same time, Cooperative of Politeknik Sultan Azlan Shah (Behrang), handed over a business zakat check totaling RM39,318.98  to the Perak Islamic Religious Council & Malay Customs (MAIPk). Representatives of Cooperative, Sultan Azlan Shah (Behrang), Mr. Salehan bin Marsin handed over the check to Dr. Amiruddin bin Muhamed, CEO of MAIPk, at the ceremony. Officials from the Marketing and Zakat Division of Perak Islamic Religious Council & Malay Customs also participated as workshop secretariat.
