CEREMONY OF LOGO LAUNCHING AND STRATEGIC PLAN
Â PERAK ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS COUNCIL & MALAY CUSTOMS

IPOH, 27 September 2016 - Perak Islamic Religious Council & Malay Customs (MAIPk) organized the launching ceremony of Logo and Strategic Plan of the Perak Islamic Religious Council & Malay Customs, at Dewan Al-Ghazali, Kompleks Islam Darul Ridzuan, Ipoh, Perak. The event organized under His Majesty Paduka Seri Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Shah Muizzuddin son of the late Sultan Azlan Shah Al-Maghfur-Lah. The ceremony was attended by the Hon. Perak First Minister, Members of the Perak State Executive, Members of MAIPk, Heads of Departments and Federal and State government agencies and the private sector.

As a symbolic effort of MAIPk development in the country, especially in Perak, MAIPk new logo was launched during the ceremony. The logo as a whole represents the Perak Islamic Religious Council & Malay Customs (MAIPk) as an institution of a progressive and dynamic in upholding Islam and Malay customs administration under His Majesty Paduka Seri Sultan Perak Darul Ridzuan. White means purity, sincerity and accountability of MAIPk as an Islamic institution. Yellow means unity of thought and action to achieve the vision and mission of MAIPk while black means sustainability, viability and remain relevant over time across the passage of time. Detail of the logo can be found in Appendix. The logo designed by Mr. Mohd Rashidy bin Samsudin, 32 years old and he is now working in the Creative Services Department, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

In addition, the MAIPk introduce MAIPk 2016-2021 Strategic Plan for the realization of the mandate and aspirations of His Majesty Paduka Seri Sultan Nazrin Shah Muizzuddin to promote community and protect the sanctity of Islam. The mandate of the axis of this strategic plan is Sanctity of Islam, the sovereignty of the Malay Rulers, supremacy and rights of the Malays and the Integrity of Islamic law. While the aspiration to be the direction the plan is Empowering Individuals, Organizations and Muslim Ummah Through Education and Socio-Economic Development of Individuals, Families, Communities and the Ummah.
