Excellence in Education UPSR 2016 Seminar, Knowledge Waqf - MUMTAZ Program, Perak Ar-Ridzuan Waqf
Tanjung Malim, July 31, 2016 (Sunday) - A total of 121 candidates who will sit for the Primary School Achievement Test (UPSR) 2016 from schools in the Mu`allim and Batang Padang District joined the Excellence in Education UPSR 2016 Seminar . The seminar lasted for three days from 29 to 31 July 2016 at the Lecture Hall, Sultan Azlan Shah Campus, UPSI in Tanjung Malim.
Seminar on UPSR Educational Excellence 2016 is one of the areas under Waqf Ar-Ridzuan Perak (WPAR) project of Wakaf Ilmu-Learning Program of Mumtaz and ICT. The seminar involves cooperation between the Perak Islamic Religious Council & Malay Customs (MAIPk) and Malay Teachers' Union of West Malaysia a.k.a "Kesatuan Guru-Guru Melayu Malaysia Barat". The WPAR Mumtaz Program participants were selected from among low-income families in which the main aim is to reduce the gap between the academic achievement of students in rural and urban.
Excellence in Education UPSR 2016 Seminar aimed to provide motivation among the participants and to improve their UPSR achievement performance that will be held soon.
The seminar also aims to keep the Islamic economy based on waqf in motion.
It allows the existence of public awareness about the importance and need for waqf for mutual economic development.
Hopefully this program can give opportunity and provide the necessary rights to every participant to succeed and excel at a higher level with the help and cooperation of society in particular. The closing ceremony was officiated by Mr. Mohd Haidi Bin Sulaiman, Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Management) MAIPk.
