MAIPk Ummah And Space Cooperatives Travel Program
TAIPING, October 29, 2019 - The Council of Islamic Religion and Malay Customs Perak (MAIPk) and Space consisting of several cooperatives have implemented this Ummah Travel Program. Such a convoy & pilgrimage concept program gives participants a chance to see firsthand the role played by MAIPk in helping and empowering the community through the Zakat Fund. Participants were brought in to assist with recipients of Assistance in asnaf empowerment schemes namely the Fertilization Chili Project, Home Buildings and Scissors Cabin Project and dialysis assistance from MAIPk around Taiping district. After the visit, at the Perdana Hotel, Taiping was held the next Closing Ceremony of the Azam Bhd Cooperative Zakat Business Session. which has awarded a Zakat of RM7,074.47 for the year 2018 completed by Mr. Haji Rosli Bin Haji Basri Chairman of the Perak State Space and Shariah Development Committee while MAIPk is represented by the Chief Executive Officer of MAIPk, YBrs. Shahrul Azam bin Shaari received the zakat. The Ummah Adventure Program is the best platform for any agency or corporate individual to express concern for less fortunate Muslim relatives in their lives. Hopefully, programs like this will attract more agencies and corporate individuals out there to continue to carry out zakat fairs at MAIPk to defend the fate of Asnaf in Perak State in particular.
