RM3 Million for MAIPk Overseas Scholarship At Egypt
30 April 2017 - Perak Islamic Religious Council & Malay Customs (MAIPk) spent RM3 million for 110 sponsored students under the MAIP Overseas Scholarship for 2017 for a period of 4 years of study.
These students were selected based on their excellence academic results and thus qualify them to be sponsored by MAIPk. A total of 85 students nominated as the recipient of a full scholarship and 25 students were also honored as a private student of MAIPk`s Overseas Scholarship.
They are aided in the form of roundtrip airline tickets, daily expense while in "Markaz Bahasa" and subsistence for the period of four years of study.
These students had left for Egypt on Sunday. MAIPk hope these students can utilize the zakat funds as well as possible for their studies and ultimately help the community after they have successful in the future.
