Waqf Knowledge Program, MUMTAZ Jaya SPM Program 2017
Pengkalan Hulu, 23 April 2017 (Sunday) - A total of 100 students who will be sitting for Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2017 of 15 schools in the Hulu Perak area have joined the program Jaya SPM 2017 under Waqf Project Ar-Ridzuan Perak (WPAR) of Waqf Ilmu-Mumtaz. The program is the 5th time that has been successfully implemented since WPAR introduced on 7 April 2016.
The participants consisted of students who are at moderate level in schools. This program focuses on a deeper understanding of the techniques to correctly answer the questions, also motivate the students to be successful in life. The speakers were excellent and experienced teachers. With the guidance provided, participants can improve their performance in learning and educating themself to become a successful ummah in the world and in the hereafter.
The program lasts for three days and two nights on the 21st to 23rd April 2017 at the Rest House Kroh Inn involve cooperation between the Perak Islamic Religious Council & Malay Customs (MAIPk) and Hulu Perak District Education Office. The closing ceremony was officiated by Mr Amirudin Bin Osman, MAIPk Gerik District treasury officer which was also attended by Mr. Nasarudin bin Abd Rahman, Deputy Education Officer, Hulu Perak and PPD officers and MAIPk Hulu Perak officials.
